The Chocolate Dream.

Friday, November 24, 2017,

Whenever I hear of anybody breaking the mould in South Asian Desi households, I can’t help but feel they need to be heard, and their stories need to be told, louder and clearer.

This is one such story.
And a little close to my heart too, because it is about someone shattering the norms and making their own moulds. Quite literally. Hehe.

Introduced by a mutual friend, I was approached one day by Wajeeha, owner of Chocolateeha to review her her little babies. So as a good influencer should, I stalked her website and profiles on social media to learn more about her. What I stumbled upon, was amazing!

Chocolate + Wajeeha = Chocolateeha!

Chocolateeha was born in the Summer of 2017, yup, this year! After Wajeeha realised she was doing things to please people more and not herself. So she quit her corporate job as an as Account Manager working for Nissan and set afoot on a dream. I’m all for desi women setting bars high up for the younger generation (did you see what I did there? bars, chocolate bars, ahaah. Eats one out of my secret stash), so I knew in that instance that I would be collaborating with this Girl Boss!
She was sweet enough to send me her RAW range, because as some of you may know, I’ve been trying to control my body and hormones and the horrendous sweet-tooth that I’ve developed over the years, and in general trying to adopt and ween myself into a healthier lifestyle, and plus, who can say no to CHOCOLATES.

I mean come on.

The chocolates came wrapped in a glittery box, you best believe I spent a good amount of time just stroking the sparkly box. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I’m pretty sure there was a pretty loud ‘awwwwwwwwwwwwwhhh’ background music that played whilst I unboxed the parcel.
The box was a dream come true, multiple chocolates to taste, recipe and information card and an inspiring story to go along, a Berry on the top. Haha.

I was spoilt for choice, and so was my family. I had a selection of Original 40% Cacao milk chocolate, 72% Dark Cacao Chocolate with Almonds, Almonds and Raisins, Goji Berries, Hazelnut and Cardamom, and the rich Original. The last two being my absolute favourites!
I’m super new to this influencer life, so whatever I write, mention or review, comes straight from my heart and head as nothing goes into my pocket. So when I say this, I mean it. Try Chocolateeha and support local!

She crafts her chocolates herself and painstakingly processes them from bean to box. They’re a proper treat to eat, indulge yourself, munch alone or add as a topping to your cereals or desserts, and oh, the gifting range is fabulous!

If you have any questions, feel free to drop them to me or to Wajeeha (Baji) directly and your queries shall be answered.

Also, if you’re up north in the UK, try catching Chocolateeha’s stalls and exhibitions from time to time and support your local entrepreneurs and Boss Ladies. ๐Ÿ˜…

Also, GET 20% off with my code APAALI20!

Hope you enjoy your Chocolateehas just as much as me and my family did.

Ps, still not over the shiny chocolates!

Much love,
Sanna.
